Energy Analysis
Energy Analysis
We perform whole-building environmental and energy analysis and modeling throughout design and into occupancy to predict and measure operational performance. Our advanced analytical tools allow us to provide data-driven strategies to maximize energy savings, increase occupant comfort, reduce carbon footprints and effectively incorporate renewable energy.
We use a variety of software programs to simulate whole buildings or specific spaces to maximize energy savings, support design decisions and test strategies for achieving operational savings. We provide this data early in the design process to help building owners and designers assess how to allocate investments in performance optimization for maximum impact.

Our sustainability specialists collaborate with clients and project partners to integrate successful green solutions into the planning, design, construction and operation of buildings, reducing their environmental impact at every stage of their life cycle. We use whole-systems thinking and leading-edge analytical tools to develop innovative solutions that balance economic, social and environmental factors. Our experienced team offers sustainable design strategies, energy analysis, green building certification consulting, sustainability analysis and upgrades for existing structures, along with education and training.
We are passionate about working with building owners, managers, designers, builders and occupants to create efficient, high-performance, climate-responsive buildings and communities. With two LEED Fellows on staff, we continue to expand the boundaries of sustainable design.
The built environment offers us unlimited potential for a future of health and abundance. Sustainable design benefits the human community and natural ecosystems around us. It provides tools to create optimally resource efficient buildings, industrial facilities and utilities.
Developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) is the nationally accepted benchmark for the design, construction, and operation of high performance green buildings. Achieving LEED certification may qualify your project for certain tax rebates, zoning allowances, and other incentives.
D8CL has registered member of the U.S. Green Building Council and employs a staff of LEED Accredited Professionals, including landscape architects, engineers, and professional planners. From the initial planning stages to the achievement of certification, our experienced LEED Accredited Professionals will be there to help set goals, guide progress, document construction practices, and interface with the U.S. Green Building Council.
